Your MPAN, or Meter Point Administration Number, is the unique number used to identify the electricity supply point at your property.

  • Your MPAN is a 21-digit number.
  • It is used by energy providers and network operators to identify your electricity supply.
  • It can be used when setting up accounts, switching suppliers, checking supply details or troubleshooting.
  • Your MPAN is usually found on your electricity bill.
  • It may be labelled as Supply Number or simply S.
  • Your MPAN is different from your electricity meter serial number.
  • If you cannot find your MPAN on your bill, contact your electricity supplier.
  • You can use the Energy Networks Association's tool to find your local electricity network operator: https://www.energynetworks.org/customers/find-my-network-operator
