- Standard Installation is a fixed-package service suitable for straightforward setups. The assessment is done using photos, videos and information you upload via your Andersen app. If your property needs extra cabling or minor additions beyond the standard package limits, we will simply quote you for the additional costs before work begins. Payment is required prior to installation day.
- Premium Installation is a bespoke service designed for complex properties or specialised electrical setups. It cuts out the guesswork by sending an Andersen installer to your home for an in-person assessment of your installation needs.
How to choose the right option for your home:
To make it easy at checkout, use this quick checklist to decide which installation to buy:
Choose Standard Installation if...
✓ Your fuse box is close to where you want the charger (under 15 meters).
✓ You are happy to take and upload photos and videos of your meters, fuse box, and preferred charger location.
✓ Your home runs on a standard single-phase electrical supply (most UK homes).
✓ No groundwork, trenching, or driveway excavation is needed to lay the cable.
Choose Premium Installation if...
✗ The cable needs to run a long distance, cross large obstacles, or pass through multiple internal walls.
✗ You are unsure about your electrical setup or prefer an expert to handle the assessment in person.
✗ You have ordered a three-phase charge point (Premium is strictly required for this).
✗ The cable needs to be buried under ground, lawns, or pathways to reach the charger location.
