Yes. You, or another responsible adult over the age of 18 must be present at the property for the entire duration of the installation.
Because we want to ensure you are completely happy with the end result, the person home on the day needs to be a key decision-maker. They will need to be available for the following steps:
- Pre-Install Consultation: The installer will walk the property with you to confirm the exact charger location and cable route before drilling or mounting any equipment.
- Property Access: They will need to guide the installer to your meter box, main incoming electrical supply, and consumer unit/fuse board.
- Power Isolation: They must be there to safely coordinate when the electricity supply will be temporarily turned off.
- App Setup & Handover: Once the physical install is complete, the installer will demonstrate how the charger works and assist with setting up the Andersen EV app.
- Final Approval & Sign-Off: Before our installer leaves the site, the decision-maker must review the completed installation to confirm they are fully satisfied with the work and happy with the finish.
