Network Requirements & Requirements:

  • 2.4GHz band required: Your router or access point must broadcast a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Please note that 5GHz networks are not supported by the charge point.
  • Signal strength: The charge point needs to be within an adequate range of your Wi-Fi signal during initial setup and for day-to-day use. A weak signal may affect app connectivity or smart features.
  • Dual-band routers: Some routers combine 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies under a single network name. If setup fails, you may need to temporarily separate the bands or check your router settings to ensure the 2.4GHz band is active and visible.
  • Improving coverage: If your charge point is installed far from your router, you may need to boost your Wi-Fi coverage using a suitable Wi-Fi extender or mesh system.
