You may be eligible for the UK Government EV chargepoint grant if you rent your home, own a flat, or are a residential landlord. Grants are also available if you are installing the chargepoint for your business. Grant eligibility depends on your property, applicant type and current government rules.
The OZEV grant must be applied for directly on the government site and prior to any installation being carried out.
If you are using your own installer, the grant is applied by them not ourselves as the chargepoint supplier. Your installer must be registered and approved by OZEV.
- The EV chargepoint grant can help towards the cost of buying and installing an EV chargepoint.
- For renters and flat owners, the grant can cover 75% of the cost, up to a maximum of GBP 500.
- Residential landlords may also be able to claim 75% of the cost, up to a maximum of GBP 500 per socket.
- Landlords can claim for up to 200 sockets per year across eligible properties.
- Eligibility depends on the property, applicant type, parking arrangements and current government criteria.
- Andersen may also run additional support offers from time to time, such as an additional Andersen contribution on eligible OZEV orders.
- Please check the latest GOV.UK guidance before ordering, as grant rules can change.
